Ribbon preparation and holders for mass fusion splicing
A holder keeps multiple fibers aligned during preparation and transfer to the fusion process.

How to read this image
In this illustration, fibers enter from the bottom and move toward the upper clamp or holder that goes into the machine. It illustrates ribbon preparation, not an active optical connection.
Order before fusion
Working with multiple fibers requires maintaining the intended sequence and orientation. A visually aligned ribbon still needs preparation and cleaving compatible with the holder and splicer.

Fiber count, spacing and coating must match the equipment. Refer to the holder, stripper, cleaver and splicer manuals for specific steps and dimensions; the photograph alone cannot establish them.
